Complaints and Concerns

Western Carolina University is committed to addressing complaints and/or concerns about any aspect of our services.  Every effort will be made to understand the complaint and/or concern and respond in an appropriate manner.  Many issues are best resolved when they are addressed directly with the person involved. 

For complaints/concerns regarding Academic Policies/Procedures/Actions please complete the form and submit it to the Provost Office, 560 HFR Administration Building, 828.227.7495. (ex: Unfair grading practice or inappropriate behavior by a professor)

For complaints/concerns regarding Financial Policies/Procedures/Actions please complete the form and submit it to the Division of Administration & Finance, 301 HFR Administration Building, 828.227.7321. (ex: Incorrect billing or appeal of the deposit or refund policy)

For complaints/concerns regarding Student Services Policies/Procedures/Actions please complete the form and submit to the Division of Student Affairs, 114 Scott East, 828.227.7234. (ex: Inappropriate practices or behavior at Health Services or unfair policies in Residential Living)

 

For complaints/concerns regarding Distance Learning Policies/Procedures/Actions please complete the form and submit it to the Division of Educational Outreach, 138 Cordelia Camp Building, 828.227.7397 or 866.928.4723. (ex: Unfair grading practice or inconsistent policies and/or procedures).
