Deferred Giving
Deferred Giving There are almost as many ways to give as there are needs to be met.

Outright gifts of cash, stock or property make an immediate impact and can fund an annual exhibit or help to further the collection mission of the museum. These gifts also offer the benefit of an income tax deduction.

Planned gifts are most often from a bequest in your will, by beneficiary designation of retirement assets or a life insurance policy, or by funding a trust. Some planned gifts offer income for a period of years or life, or allow you to continue to live in your house in the case of a retained life estate. Depending upon the nature of the gift, you might receive an income tax deduction.

Please contact Fine Art Museum Interim Director, Denise Drury at 828-227-2550 or for more information regarding your planned gift to the Fine Art Museum.
