Monday, November 14:
·       Africa in World History and Culture by Dr. Saheed Aderinto, Department of History
UC Cardinal Room: 9-10am
 
·       I-Learn America Movie Showing and Discussion
UC Theatre (UC 315): 6-8pm
A documentary of the journey of five immigrant teenagers and their experiences adjusting and learning about a new country, city and high school.
 
Tuesday, November 15:
·       Study Abroad Student Panel
UC Catamount Room: 4-5pm
Learn about study abroad through the experiences of study abroad returnees.
 
·       Chinese Language Group Performance
BAC 130: 7-9pm
Join us for the fun of exploring China and Chinese culture through skits, song and a tongue twister!
 
·       Native American Heritage Program
UC 227 (ICA Office): 6pm
Join Intercultural Affairs to experience and celebrate Native American heritage. Watch the movie Apocalypto and enjoy food and discussion.  
 
Wednesday, November 16:
·       International Coffee Hour and Cultural Presentation
UC Cardinal Room: 4:30-5:30pm
 
·       Bardo Arts Center hosts a Talk by Michael Roy, Muralist
BAC 130: 5-6pm
Roy’s work is inspired by an international hodgepodge of religious and mythological themes in combination with a dedicated nostalgia for the Saturday morning cartoons of his childhood.
 
Thursday, November 17:
·       Global Citizenship Summit
UC Grand Room, 10:30am-1pm
Twelve groups of students will represent countries from all over the world in a model-UN fashion to produce a joint resolution, solving problems of the 21st century. (Political Science and Public Affairs Department)
 
·       Study Abroad Presentation
UC Cardinal Room: 4-5pm
Learn how YOU can study abroad!
 
·       Japan Night hosted by the Japanese Program
McKee 121: 5:30-7:30pm
This three-part series include presentations about Japanese culture, how to navigate your study abroad trip to Japan, and learn how Japanese students experience the United States. (Department of World Languages)
