Types of Undergraduate Exchanges

Fees based on your exchange

Based on the type of exchange student you are your fees may change. Select your Exchange program below for details on the included fees.

ISEP Exchanges:

As an ISEP Exchange student, you pay only a book rental fee of $147 per semester - no other fees.

UNCEP Exchanges

As an UNCEP Exchange student, you will pay room and board, insurance (if applicable), a book rental fee, orientation and international student fees.

Bilateral Exchanges

As a Bilateral Exchange student, you will pay room and board, insurance (if applicable), a book rental fee, orientation and international student fees.

For f2 / j2 Dependents

Add an additional $2,500 to estimated total above for each dependent.

International Undergraduate and Exchange Student expenses

Below is a detailed description, breakdown and more information for all expenses listed above.

Tuition & Fees:

Your tuition and fees include insurance costs and book rental fee for degree-seeking students. It also includes an estimated $150 for program fees charged each semester. Please see additional academic fees per semester for more information.

Medical Insurance:

$1,136.50 per semester included in tuition and fees for degree-seeking students. Please note that medical insurance Mandatory unless the student waives out and shows proof of insurance coverage.

Room & Board

Cost estimated based on a double room in Robertson Hall ($2,364.00 per semester), and 175 AYCE Meals plus $541 Declining Balance ($2000.50). Please note that all degree-seeking undergraduates required to choose an AYCE meal plan option.

Personal & Miscellaneous

Includes estimated living expenses, $130 Orientation Fee (one-time fee), $150 International Student Fee (charged annually). All degree-seeking undergraduates are required to have a personal computer.

Room & Board

Cost estimated based on a single room in Madison Hall ($3,217 per semester) and 80 AYCE Meals plus $801 Declining Balance ($1,571.36 per semester).
Please note that Off-Campus housing may be more or less than room and board indicated above.
