College of Fine and Performing Arts
Established in July 2007, the College of Fine and Performing Arts is the only college dedicated to the arts among University of North Carolina system universities. Faculty members (56 full time, including two endowed chairs) are accomplished professional artists who train and guide more than 600 majors on their own pathways to professional artistry. From a selective admissions process through graduation, our students are part of ongoing “great experiences” through the creation of art, teaching and advocacy.

Donors play an important and acknowledged role in the college’s continued service to the campus and community. Support is needed for scholarships, instruments, facilities and performances.
