DId you know that the Great Smoky Mountains National Park is the most visited park in the United States?  With over 12 million visitors a year, it has been named one of the most popular places to visit and it happens to be in our back yard!  Western Carolina Univesity is located in Jackson County, NC and surrounded by some of the most breath-taking scenery in America. 

While hosting your event, consider exploring some of our neighboring towns.  Some of the more well-known locations have been conveniently linked in the Local Destinations section.  There are countless opportunities to immerse yourself (and your group) in while you have fun in Western North Carolina.  When thinking about what you would like to experience while at WCU, consider visiting the Qualla Boundary to learn more about the history of the Eastern Band of Cherokee or rafting down the Nantahala River.  The options are endless and we can help you find the best places to fit your needs.
