Open to all high school and undergraduate saxophonists, this thrilling week of saxophone and music-making is in its fifth year. The Assembly Quartet will serve as artist-faculty for the camp and includes Dr. Adam Estes (The University of Mississippi), Dr. Jeff Heisler (Oakland University), Dr. Matt Younglove (Wayne State University), and Dr. Ian Jeffress of Western Carolina University.

Camp activities include performance in solo, chamber, and ensemble music settings, private lessons, the study of jazz and contemporary techniques, and classes in improving musicianship and performance. Days will also include concerts by the Assembly Quartet, group activities (including a rafting trip through the beautiful Smoky Mountains!), and student performances. This is a wonderful opportunity for all student saxophonists to hone their craft in a week of intense music and fun times!

There are a limited number of scholarships available for this camp. Please contact Ian Jeffress at jeffress@wcu.edu for more information.
