The Finish Line

Have you completed 90 or more credit hours of college coursework and want to finish your degree? Come to Western Carolina University. We can help you!

What is the Finish Line?
The Finish Line is a degree completion program for students who did not finish their bachelor’s degrees. Whether you were attending WCU or any other college in the United States, we're inviting you to apply, graduate and join our Catamounts by achieving your bachelor's degree.

To qualify for the Finish Line, you must

    • Have stopped out of school for at least 1 year
    • Have at least a 2.0 cumulative grade-point average
    • You must have achieved 90 or more credits toward bachelor degree requirements.

WCU’s Finish LIne staff will do everything we can to help you meet the goal of graduation:

  • Based on your major, you will be connected with an Academic Advisor who will work with you to create a schedule that fits your life.
  • Division of Student Success staff offer a wide array of services to help you academically such as: math tutoring, writing and learning, advising, and mentoring
  • We can also help you with applying for admission, with the financial aid process, with transferring credits, and any other specific needs.

Finding the Right Major
