Nancy Wike

Nancy Wike assists Principal Investigators throughout the institution through the post award financial administration of grants and contracts and is responsible for overall sponsored program financial reporting compliance. She manages the University’s sponsored programs cash flow and reporting and samples award transactions for compliance. Ms. Wike also works with the University Controller’s office and assists the Controller with year-end closing. Her primary responsibility is to process Federal draw-downs for sponsored programs. Her duties include:

• Grant/fund set-up and Banner budget entry
• Subcontract review and encumbrance
• Expense documents review/approval (travel, direct pay, personnel actions, tuition)
• Journal voucher processing for cost transfers
• Release time processing
• Budget revisions
• Award close-out
• Final reconciliation

PI’s may call upon Ms. Wike for assistance and/or questions regarding expenditures and financial reporting on grant accounts.
