Every year, more than 10,000 students find themselves in our classrooms. You can, too.

Find a challenge

We have a broad array of academic programs that will meet your interests and career goals. Choose a major in the traditional liberal arts like English, history, or biology. Or find a more professional major in business, engineering, or nursing. No matter which of our academic programs you choose, you'll follow a rigorous curriculum that prepares you to pursue more advanced study or move straight into a successful career. And by joining The Honors College or using our professional-level facilities and equipment, you can push your intellect and your studies to the limit.

We have expert faculty and top-rated programs: Project management and entrepreneurship are ranked among the best in the nation. Our criminal justice program was used as the model for North Carolina's accreditation program. And our forensic anthropology program is taught by one of only 55 board-certified forensic anthropologists in the nation.

We're also the sixth largest producer of teachers in North Carolina. And in 2006, our College of Education and Allied Professions was the national winner of the 2006 Association of Teacher Educators' Distinguished Program in Teacher Education Award and the national winner for the 2007 American Association of State Colleges and Universities’ Christa McAuliffe Award for Exemplary Programs in Teacher Education.
