Among the first institutions in the country to adopt the Boyer model across campus, Western Carolina University brings experience and vision as a leader in promoting institutional change tha recognizes its faculty's broad range of scholarly activities. In 2009 and 2010, WCU was named to the President's Higher Education Community Service Honor Roll with Distinction, the highest level of federal recognition for commitment to service and civic engagement. Serving as facilitators, our faculty and administrators will apply their expertise in the integration of Boyer's model as it pertains to the strategic goals of your institution.
