Last Lecture Award

 

The Coulter Faculty Commons sponsors WCU's annual Last Lecture Award  which recognizes professors who teach with passion and enthusiasm. The Last Lecture Award is the only WCU award for which the winner is chosen by solely by students. Nominees are solicited through WCU's integrated awards process and the winner is the nominee who receives the highest number of nominations.  

The Coulter Faculty Commons also sponsors the Last Lecture Series, which is a free event open to the public in which the award winners present their 'last lecture'.The 2012 Last Lecture Award winner is David Dorondo, associate professor in the departmet of history. His last lecture will take place on Thursday, October 4, 2012 from 3-5 PM in the UC Theater. For more information, please click here.
