What is a LMS?

At WCU the Learning Management System is a software application called Blackboard 9.1 used to monitor, document, and manage online and classroom events and assignments.

The LMS team focuses on the management and support of Blackboard 9.1, including fault isolation and customer service.

What is Blackboard 9.1?

Blackboard 9.1 is a system that enhances the quality of online and face-to-face instruction. These are few of the numerous opportunities created by Blackboard:

Availability:

All students and instructors have access to Blackboard 9.1 by selecting the link on the school website at www.wcu.edu. A username and password are required, but both are available to anyone with an active school account.
