Western Carolina University will offer a Project Management Professional (PMP)® Exam preparation class at the Biltmore Park Location.  The five-day class includes preparation for the five domains of the PMP® exam and attendees will complete a simulated test at the end of the week.   This course meets the 35 hour educational requirement to sit for the PMP® exam. 

According to the Project Management Institute, “PMI’s Project Management Professional (PMP)® credential is the most important industry-recognized certification for project managers. Globally recognized and demanded, the PMP® demonstrates that you have the experience, education and competency to lead and direct projects.” 

Western Carolina is a Registered Education Provider by the Project Management Institute and is a leader in project management education. A Masters and a Graduate Certificate in Project Management are offered online and WCU established the first PMI approved Masters program.

Dr. Vittal Anantatula is the instructor for the course and is an experienced PMP Prep instructor. He is also director of the Project Management Programs at WCU.  According to Dr. Anantatula, “We are excited to offer this one-week preparation course at Biltmore Park.  By offering this course, we are meeting a need of area project managers to prepare for the exam and increasing their earning power.”

Western Carolina University Programs at Biltmore Park are located at 28 Schenck Pkwy, Ste 300, Biltmore Park, Asheville, NC.  Pre-registration is required and the early registration fee is $ 799.00. Registration after May 1, 2013 is $ 999.00. Participants will need access to a PMBok Guide (5th Edition).
