All students enrolling for courses in the Kimmel School must have a laptop computer that meets standard university networking and hardware configuration requirements.
It is recommended that all incoming and prospective Kimmel School students have computers with the following:
- Windows operating system
- At least 8GB of RAM
- At least a 15" screen
- An advanced graphics card to handle 3D graphics processing
- Dell Precision Workstation M3800
- Dell Precision Workstation M4800

The Kimmel School also uses Virtual Computing Laboratories for instruction.
