The Center for Rapid Product Realization is a division of the Department of Engineering and Technology within the Kimmel School at Western Carolina University. The Rapid Center has been designated a federal university center and is partially funded by the Economic Development Administration (EDA), an agency of the U.S. Department of Commerce. Our offices are located in the Center for Applied Technology and the Belk Building, which are located next to one another, facing south on Centennial Drive near a parking lot reserved for faculty and staff. If you intend to park in this lot, please call to request a visitor's permit.
Labs and classrooms are located in the Belk Building and in the Center for Applied Technology ("the CAT Building"). The entrance to the CAT Building is located near our parking lot.
