Engineering and Technology Alumni

WELCOME BACK to the Department of Engineering and Technology! It is always a pleasure to be in contact with our graduates, and we welcome your continued involvement with the department and the Kimmel School.

Keep in Touch

Please sign in with the WCU Alumni Association to share news of your personal and professional achievements and to keep up with your university friends and classmates. You will also find information about alumni events in your area and on campus, awards for alumni, scholarships for the children of alumni and much more.

To receive the Magazine of Western Carolina University, contact the Office of Alumni Affairs and request print copies by mail. Visit the magazine online at magazine.wcu.edu

We hope you will come back to campus often for athletic events and special events. Of course, you are welcome to visit us on Facebook.

News

When you have news about awards you have earned, work you have presented or published, or events to come, go online alumni.wcu.edu to post your news on the alumni Facebook page or the online Class Notes. To submit a Class Note to the print issue of the Magazine of Western Carolina University, send an email to magazine@wcu.edu.

Employers and Job Seekers

If you are hiring new employees and would like to consider a WCU grad, or if you are looking for a job yourself, you may find it useful to check in with WCU Career Services.

Project Sponsor

Please consider proposing a challenging project for student teams to work on. As you know, project-based learning is a critical part of the Kimmel School experience. Our seniors are required to work on real-world projects and to accomplish measurable outcomes. As a project sponsor, you will have a chance to mentor engineering and technology students, to monitor their work as potential employees and to receive the results of their efforts.

Business Partner

We welcome alumni as business partners. If you are facing a tough engineering challenge, the faculty and staff at the Center for Rapid Product Realization will be glad to work with you to find innovative solutions and remove obstacles big and small. We can help you move your concepts, quickly and efficiently, along the path to new product commercialization or process improvement.

Nominate Promising Students

If you know of prospective students who would do well at the Kimmel School, please ask them to call the Office of the Dean. We would be glad to talk with them about our academic programs, introduce them to faculty members and offer a tour of our facilities.

Give a Gift to the School

Please consider giving a gift to the Kimmel School for a scholarship or to support an academic program. It is only through the generosity of individual alumni like you that we can provide scholarship support for some of our best students. Without that support, many of them would never have the chance to graduate and go on to success in their chosen careers. Thank you in advance for your gifts.

Visit the Kimmel School

Please come back often to visit the Kimmel School and let us know how you are doing. Our offices are located in the Belk Building on the south side of WCU's main campus in Cullowhee, N.C.
