The construction management minor is open to all majors and requires 24 hours of coursework. Courses include graphics and plan reading, methods and materials, estimating and bidding, planning and scheduling, legal aspects of construction and project management.
A minor in construction management provides specialized knowledge for students interested in professions related to the built environment such as project management, theater design and production, interior design, engineering, architecture, architectural engineering and business administration. This minor enhances skills required for entry-level positions in the construction industry and should help students develop a competitive edge in the job market.
