Professor Huntley-Dale received her Masters of Science in Nursing from Gardner-Webb University with a focus in Nursing Administration, 2007. She is currently working toward a PhD, Nursing, from University of Phoenix. Her dissertation research involves critical care nurses, stress and health promoting behaviors.
Professor Huntley-Dale’s clinical background includes surgical-trauma intensive care. In nursing education, she has worked as an Associate Chair of Nursing for AB Technical College. Additionally, she worked with Blue Ridge Community College in facilitating the opening of the Transylvania County Campus Nursing Program and has worked with implementation and integration of the NC Based Nursing Curriculum. Professor Huntley-Dale currently teaches in the RN to BSN Program at the Biltmore Park Campus.
Her areas of expertise include Critical Care Nursing, Nursing Administration, and Nursing Education. Areas of research interest include Critical Care Nursing, Family Health, and Health Promotion Behaviors. Professor Huntley-Dale is very interested in serving her community as an advocate for health and wellness. She enjoys the outdoors and distance running.
She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Honor Society, the National League for Nursing, and the American Nurses Association.
