This award is given to honor excellence in teaching among the faculty in the College of Fine and Performing Arts, and is based on a set of materials submitted by each nominee as well as classroom visits by appointed committee members.
Any WCU student or faculty member can nominate an eligible candidate for the award. You may nominate more than one individual for the award. All eligible candidates who are nominated are considered for the award. Students who have taken classes in the College of Fine and Performing Arts, please take the time to nominate those faculty members whose teaching has made a difference to you. We also encourage faculty across campus to nominate their colleagues in Fine and Performing Arts who exemplify excellent teaching.
To be considered for the Fine and Performing Arts Teaching award, the Nominee must be full-time faculty member from the College of Fine and Performing Arts and have taught at WCU for three years or be in the third year of teaching.
