The WCU Department of Accounting, Finance, Information Systems and Economics offers a wide variety of academic programs designed to prepare you to be tomorrow’s business leader in the private, government, or public sector.
Currently we have 139 students enrolled in accounting, with an average of 30-35 graduating seniors each year; 62 students enrolled in finance, with approximately 20 graduating seniors per year; and 108 computer information systems majors, with an average of 20-25 graduating seniors per year.
Our faculty members are dedicated to creating a learning environment of excellence with a personal touch as they teach and develop the department’s dynamic curriculum.
As a member of the department, you’ll find that there are many activities to explore your interest in your chosen field of study both inside and outside the classroom. Events such as Career Days allow you to enter the workforce well-prepared for the world of business, and clubs and organizations provide valuable collaboration and networking opportunities.
