About the Computer Information Systems Program

Our program is focused on the idea that we can use information systems in a networked environment to improve decision-making in the business world and to solve business problems.

Because today’s businesses, industries, and governments rely on computers, successful careers for many college graduates depend on learning how to apply the technology that drives information processing and decision-making.

Our faculty keeps abreast of advances in such technologies, and utilizes facilities such as the specialized Computer Information Systems Laboratory to allow students to gain hands-on experience that will propel them to the top of their field.

We believe that, with the knowledge and experience gained by students in the Computer Information Systems Program, our graduates will find themselves well prepared to enter into what many are predicting to be the fastest-growing employment field.
