Through an Undergraduate Program

This path is intended for students who wish to enroll as an undergraduate at WCU and pursue the teaching profession.

The BS Ed. degree has many specialties for different grad levels:

 

Through a Graduate Program

This path is intended for students who already have at least a bachelor's degree in a non-education field and wish to become a teacher.  You may pursue a post-baccalaureate certificate or the Master of Arts in Teaching degree

Post-Baccalaureate Certificate

Master of Arts in Teaching concentrations:

 

Through an Alternative Licensure Program

The Alternative Licensure program is for students who already have a degree and are ready for the challenge of teaching. Our programs are designed for recent college graduates, mid-career professionals, and retirees who wish to enter the teaching profession.
