Application developers or analysts or database administrators at Western Carolina University are able to develop new features – reports, online forms, scheduled jobs, data feeds, workflows, etc. – related to supported business systems. Example requests include:
- Create a new report for employee salary comparisons
- Add a letter or invoice to the electronic document management system
- Create a job for the mass update of student attributes
Limited to business systems supported by the IT Division.

Analyze requirements for a new feature related to one of the business systems supported by the IT Division, and develop an appropriate solution to meet the need. IT may assess any risks involved and require mitigation or deferral in some instances.
