Business Systems - Change or Enhancement

Service Description

Application developers or analysts at Western Carolina University are responsible for enhancing or modifying existing features – reports, online forms, scheduled jobs, data feeds, workflows, etc. – related to supported business systems. Example requests include:


• Add a new field to an existing report
• Change an existing workflow to send an email to another campus department
• Update content and options on an application for the upcoming semester

Requirements/Limitations

Limited to business systems supported by the IT Division

Eligibility

WCU faculty and staff

Service Availability

Available during regular business hours, Monday –Friday, 8AM – 5PM

IT’s Role

Perform tasks needed to make the change or enhancement to one of the business systems supported by the IT Division.  IT may assess the risk of making a change and require mitigation or deferral in some instances.
