Faculty/Staff: part of hiring process
Students: activated and deactivated depending on enrollment
Accounts which provide access with a username and password to log in to university computing resources (computers, email, wireless network, printers, storage space, web space, Blackboard, access to various other area as needed).
Based on Active Directory.
WCU Accounts are for faculty and staff (with a few exceptions for teaching/lab assistants).
Catamount Accounts are for students.
Must be currently employed Faculty/Staff. Students must be currently enrolled to get a new account.

Available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, with the exception of scheduled maintenance.
