After an initial computer account login has been established, an individual may be granted access to additional university resources. For example, the person may require access to different printers or file shares for their department. Access to additional resources, beyond the exceptions listed below, is requested through the IT Help Desk.
Banner Administrative Accounts (INB) must be authorized by the department (where the individual is employed) and approved by the data steward of the functional area (to which access is requested). These types of accounts are only needed by administrative staff, department heads, and secretaries. Faculty members do not use Administrative Banner; faculty grading and academic work is available via the academic systems My Cat and Blackboard.

Sometimes email accounts are needed by the university but are not tied to an individual person's account. For example, Athletics needs a generic email account for the Baseball Program in order to manage and communicate effectively. These accounts must be requested and approved by the department and sponsored by an individual within the requesting department. These accounts must be renewed yearly, as well as whenever the sponsor of the account changes position within the university or separates from the university. To request a group email account, complete the Employee Exception or Non-Person Access Request Form (PDF).
R25 is a system that enables management of class and event scheduling campus-wide. A web viewer is available for persons who need access to check availability, but do not manage those resources. Administrative use for R25 must be requested and approved by the Office of Institutional Research and Planning. Please contact this office for any questions relating to Resource 25.
